Grace Combs is a filmmaker currently based in Albany working with Disability Rights New York. She has been fascinated with cinema since the moment she watched Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl in theaters at the age of 10. Her love for the film inspired Grace to learn the craft behind 'movie magic', and she has continually grown as a visual storyteller ever since.

She has over 8 years of videography experience and earned a Bachelor of Arts in both Film Studies and Anthropology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Throughout the course of her education, Grace has worked on several independent short films with a range of production role experience. Her passion is to direct anthropological documentaries, but her interests expand from working with digital media to conducting cinematic/ethnographic research.

As an avid traveler and curious academic, Grace aspires to bring awareness and understanding to the peculiar and unknown.
